About me

Hello everyone. Nice to see you on my personal homepage. I am Jianhang Zhou, you can also call me Rich as my short time. I was born in Shanghai, and have multiple research experiences in different institutions/regions. I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow in Osaka University. In 2023, I obtained my Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Macau. I also have visiting research experience at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Shenzhen. I generally work on the area of machine learning and my specific research interest includes sparse learning, subspace learning, and medical biometrics. Recently, I also have related experience in developing methodology/algorithm/system of cybernetics avatar (supported by the JST Moonshot project). For my daily life, I like hiking, travel, coffee time, and anything fresh & interesting. I am fond of collaborating with others who have diffferent research directions/subjects from me (e.g., medicine science, brain science, etc.).
